Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StationIQ platform operated by StationIQ LLC. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use StationIQ. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. StationIQ is designed for Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement professionals, though access is not restricted exclusively to verified first responders.
2. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create and post on StationIQ, including classes, drills, discussions, and other materials ("User Content"). By posting content, you grant StationIQ LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and for marketing purposes related to StationIQ. You represent that you have the rights to post any content you submit.
3. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on StationIQ:
• Pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind
• Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. Such content will be immediately removed, the account permanently banned, and the material reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
• Hate speech, harassment, or content targeting individuals based on race, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability
• Misinformation or content that could endanger public safety
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Spam, unauthorized advertising, or promotional content not approved by StationIQ
4. Reporting and Enforcement
StationIQ reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice. Accounts found to be in violation may be suspended or permanently banned. Violations involving illegal content, particularly any material that exploits or endangers minors, will be reported to appropriate authorities immediately.
5. Platform Use
You agree to use StationIQ only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its mission of professional development in emergency services. You agree not to:
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform
6. Partner and Instructor Content
Partner instructors and verified creators on StationIQ are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of their training content. StationIQ does not independently verify the accuracy of all training materials. Users should exercise professional judgment when applying any training content in real-world situations.
7. Intellectual Property
The StationIQ name, logo, platform design, and original content created by StationIQ LLC are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from StationIQ's proprietary materials without written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
StationIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free. Training content on StationIQ is for educational purposes and does not replace official agency training, certification, or command authority.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StationIQ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any content posted therein.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Douglas County, Nebraska.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of StationIQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
